University of Illinois Online Bachelors Degree Program

The University of Illinois at Springfield campus is offering a 60-semester-hour online Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. This program requires no campus visits and accepts 20 new students each Fall semester. The program provides a wide range of courses, including in-depth sessions in methods and research. The online History program is identical to the UI-S on-campus history program and allows students to actively contribute to an interactive learning process.

Union Institute & University Masters Degree Program

Union Institute & University makes available an online Master of Arts program with a concentration in History and Culture to students motivated by a rigorous educational process. All graduate students must take on three core courses which provide a context for the rest of the curriculum components. These courses will help students understand their field, gain core knowledge and understand their own research and writing. These core courses include scholarship elements, research methodology and disciplinary foundations. After the core courses are complete, students will develop a personal academic plan with a personal adviser.
